2024 Design Trends: Earth Tones, Sustainable Materials, and Curves

For 2024 we will continue to see designs trending out of grays and into soothing earth tones, deep moody hues, and pastel colors. Get ready for warm, textural spaces with natural materials in moodier colors inspired by earth’s natural hues. Brown is on trend—it’s very warm and rich, and it serves as a great neutral to layer with other colors. Bold hues that can act as neutrals throughout a home due to a consistent palette will be making a comeback, such as deep greens, khakis, marigold, and rich purples like eggplant and plum. Not only will this be seen in fabrics and textiles but also in cabinetry and case goods. Dark wood is also back. Expect to see warmer, dark wood flooring as well as furniture and accents.
