Our clients were eager to update their home to reflect their cool, modern style but didn’t want to go through the hassle of a full-blown remodel. For this modern refresh, we created a cohesive, fun design that encompassed the kitchen, dining area, family room and office.  The kitchen was transformed by changing the awkward island shape into a large rectangle, giving the cabinets a fresh coat of soft white paint and replacing the old countertop with a black contemporary granite around the periphery and a stunning quartzite stone on the island. Using pattern and texture in custom window treatments, pillows, chairs and rugs pulled everything together.  A color scheme of whites, greys and blues played well against the refinished warm grey hardwood floors.
